As I start packing for my first VMworld as a VMware employee, I get excited thinking about all the new and old friends that I will get to see. As much as I love the conference, I am incredibly joyed at the prospect of seeing my former EMC vSpecialist team members as well as the VMware employees from around the country. It truly will be a great time. But I am going there for work and most importantly, I am going there for the Hands on Labs. I think of all the labs that I have built for this conference as either an EMC employee or a VMware employee. I think of all the hours that I have spent in the Hands on Labs, working with customers and co-workers and speaking about with them about the products we are showcasing. This year is no different. This year I worked on the HoL-HBD-1302 lab for vCloud Hybrid Service – Networking & Security. I am really excited about this lab and all that work that Eric Hammersley (@erichammersley / www.vmfieldtips.com ), Raj Jethnani (@rajtech) and I did together. These guys are geniuses and I am so lucky to call them my teammates.
If you want a full listing of the VMware labs that will be showcased, check out http://www.vmworld.com/community/conference/us/learn/sessions-labs and make sure you select the LABS “tab” as shown below
And I can not forget to mention the EMC labs that will be taking place. If you want more detail on them, check out
