Gosh I love security!

This blog will focus on security with a touch of virtualization and cloud capabilities.  I do love security and in this blog I will bring my personal thoughts/opinions and experiences as well as sprinkling in some from co-workers and respected users in the security industry. I love evangelizing security and virtualization and will talk to anyone regarding it, even if they don’t want to. It is necessary for everyone to keep ourselves safe in everything we do. It is just that time in our life. We rarely leave anything unlocked anymore…  our house, our car, our iphones. We lock it down but these are all physical items. What are we doing for the items that we cannot see? What are we doing for data in our physical and virtual data centers… what about our data in the cloud? It comes down to risk and putting the things in place that make everything safe and not just make us feel safe. It is important to bring the discussion to the forefront, as we cannot make changes if we don’t understand it.

Common denial is a phrase that one of my best friends came up with. We would often talk about security and enterprises consumption of it. We often think that we are implementing secure measures and policies but often this is not the case.  We are all denying the fact that we are not secure enough and honestly we may never get there but it is best to bring it to everyone’s attention and hope that some changes will occur
