		<description><![CDATA[So, where does identity figure in this &quot;root trust&quot; tree TXT provides?  Are we to trust the private key squirrelled away in the TPM?  Rather like the house of cards that PKI built upon unsound CA foundations.

Goal posts moved.  Same game.  Same scoreline.  I don&#039;t see TXT as anything other than a glorified Motorola 68K TAS instruction.  Am I wrong?

It&#039;s easy to overlook the value of policies when you don&#039;t consider the daily &quot;policies&quot; (i.e., laws) that make our society stable and productive. And while we sometimes chafe at the &quot;restrictions&quot; that these policies place on us, in general we are all safer as a result. Note to self: I need to remind myself of that when I&#039;m dealing with corporate security policies. :-)]]></description>
